In 1956 Debord defined the dérive as a way of exploring the territory free from pre-established paths and the basis of Psychogeography (study of the effects of geography on the psyche). Covered in fabric, Tesseope is a virtual reality game where my childhood dream becomes real: walking on the fluttering fabrics flying outside the grandmother's sewing room.
Tesseope investigates the possibilities of video games as exploration and therefore dérive: a timeless space in which there is no sequencing, leaving those who play free to choose when and where to go, making a dérive into my dérives.
